Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing project costs and ensuring accurate pricing for our services. Your main duties will include:

• Analysing project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to prepare accurate estimates.
• Calculating material, labour, and equipment costs for concrete cutting, drilling, grinding, and demolition projects.
• Developing competitive quotes and proposals for clients.
• Collaborating with project managers and site teams to understand project requirements.
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Communicating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information.
• Monitoring market trends and industry standards to ensure competitive pricing.
• Reviewing and revising estimates based on project changes or client feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience in construction estimating, preferably within concrete cutting, demolition, or related industries.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction materials, labour costs, and equipment pricing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field (preferred).
